Terrible Sunsynk app
The Sunsynk app for iPhone has just been updated and now it's even worse than before.
The whole interface looks like it was intended for a large computer screen, then squashed into the small area for a phone.
There's a new Detail screen which apparently thinks that all the grid power is going into a "UPS" with nothing going into the Home.
The major issue with the app though is as follows:
The app sends data to the central Sunsynk servers and then back to the user. Because there are frequent server outages or problems, the user is left with no information about his/her system, often for hours at a time.
The app needs to simultaneously send data to the server AND the user.
I understand that Sunsynk wants to harvest information about its systems, but should not do this to the exclusion and disadvantage of the user.
PLEASE revise and upgrade the app.
I just updated the Sunsynk app on iPad to v1.11.4 and the power flow section is blank.
I did send a copy of my complaints to e-linter and have had no response from them.
Seriously...can't Sunsynk commision someone to create a decent app?
