Battery Power Graph When PV Present
Hello
I need a favour please.
Could someone with a Sunsynk Inverter and Sunsynk batteries check the battery power graph during the day when PV power is present.
Here are 2 examples of mine and I would like to know if the little "ripples" during this time are normal and that it happens on other systems too.
I suspect it could be the battery supplementing the load because PV needs time to ramp up for quick changes but when I analyze more closely, it is actually quite a bit of "rippling/chatter" with a constant load. Almost looks a case of to much "gain" in a PID system.
It must have something to do with the PV power because in the first image below it flattens out completely when the sun goes.
Any opinions or help will be appreciated

SunSynk 8kW Hybrid Inverter
2 x 5.32kWh SunSynk batteries
16 x 545w JA Solar Panels split 8 x 8 for PV1 and PV2
Nothing connected to Non Essentials - Full DB board is on the inverter output.

I am not exporting at all. We are allowed to export but the costs for the new prepaid meter we need to install and what we get paid for, is not worth it at this stage. (IMHO)
I have my "Grid Trickle Feed" set to 20W. (The inverse of what you mentioned above "export a little")
This trickle is necessary to prevent some sensitive prepaid meters tripping if there is slight feedback from the inverter to grid.
You raise an interesting point though. AFAIK the inverter uses the CT coil to prevent feedback into the grid. I wonder if that plays a part in the grid being necessary to keep things stable.
