The figures you see in the app and the web are coming from AliBaba servers in Hong Kong from what I can tell... the logger updates them regularly, but they're always behind - it appears they can change the upload frequency to every 30 seconds if you ask very support nicely.
Alternatively, you can try something else that doesn't involve sending data to China - something like https://solar-assistant.io/help/general/introduction (it needs a RaspberryPi, the software costs money and it also needs another cable that's not free either).
