Insulating batteries during the winter
Our batteries haven't been performing very well due to the cold weather (installed in garage) - for those of you who have insulated your batteries to increase performance during the winter - do you know if they require any airflow or recommended clearance? Or is more about battery temperature - if so does anyone know the optimum range?

The only reason there are recommended clearances is to keep temperatures under control in warm weather, if things are cold you can ignore them (and then remove insulation when things get warmer)
