Using the Gen port for adding more solar
Assuming all the std Mppt's are used - for solar is it possible to connect a solar array to an inverter and then connect it to the gen port........would the Sunsynk inverter see it as a generator?

You would not connet it to the 'Load' (Essential loads) port. You would connect it to the Grid side on the Grid side of the current CT coil used by the Sunsynk as you do not want the current Sunsynk inverter to see the power that could be exported to the Grid by this inverter. The Sunsynk would just behave as normal and would consume any power generated by the other inverter. The only thing you would not be able to do is to stop this inverter from exporting power.
Does you power provider allow you to export power to the Grid?
