Aux load wiring
Im new to sunsynk installation.
I would like to know how to wire a geyser as aux load.
As i understand the following. But any SANS links are welcome.
Its illegal to feedback into the grid no matter what.
A CT is a read only device it can not function as a tap to stop power flowing
Sunsynk diagrams i could source shows the geyser and non essential loads are still wired to the grid under earth leakage.
If so then the system feeds back to the grid. Yes the non essetial loads will absorb power when they need to power on. But what happems if the geyser is hot and no oven is used. Thank you all

It may be helpful to think of the power system a water cistern. The cistern is connected to mains water (the grid) and is toped up with water (power). Your geyser is connected to the cistern and draws water (power) but your inverter is also connected to the cistern. The CT allows the inverter to top up the cistern with just enough water (power) to compensate for the water (power) drawn off by the geyser - and any thing else connected to it.
Now the CT is not perfect. It can let more water (power) into the cistern than is used which would flow back to the grid.. To make sure this doesn't happen the inverter puts just a tiny bit less into the cistern that is being taken out. That way the cistern will always use some grid (20w for example).
Also if the water supply was cut, the inverter is designed to detect this and stop ANY flow out from it. So the geyser will not heat.. Hence the grid terminal is for non essential uses.
