Voltage Optimiser
Hi, is there any reason why I couldn't install a voltage optimiser on the incoming house supply to eliminate any nuisance tripping and increase efficiency? Would it have any adverse affects on the inverter, battery or export of excess solar?
Thanks Rob

Optimisers are a waste of money In modern day houses, yes they reduce the voltage but any modern power supply uses the same amount of power regardless of voltage. It would reduce the power to inductive loads to say a 3kw kettle which then only draws 2.8kw but takes longer to boil so zero saving.
