Limit on charge rate of batteries from grid
I have an 8kW Sunsynk hybrid inverter and 4x5kWh Sunsynk (BYD) batteries connected.
I have set the timer to charge the batteries to 100% in the early hours of the morning (1 to 5am), 8000W.
On the battery settings the Batt capacity is set to 400Ah.
However the charge rate is only a steady 2.6kW for the period between 1 and 5am so the batteries do not fully recharge.
Surely I should be able to charge the batteries from the grid at 8kW?
Can someone advise on how to do this?

Hi Stuart, Yes I'm in a similar situation my installer (energybanksystems) didn't complete install no UPS when promised. Now he won't even answer my messages. So need to figure it out myself with help from forum. Peter
