Non essential load scenario
Hi, could someone please confirm the outcome of the following scenario.
- C.T. Coil is installed and working correctly.
- Inverter is set to zero export.
- Battery is fully charged.
- Utility is present and non essential load is drawing 3kW.
- Solar array is producing 2kW.
Question: Will utility supply "subsidise" the 1kW power deficit?

To demonstrate, assuming you battery is full, if you untick use timer, tick zero export only, and switch your stove on while you are making good solar power, you will notice that grid import power will be equal total load power less solar power.
