Max panels on 3 phase 12KW unit

Morning All.

I have a 3 phase 12KW Sunsynk unit that has taken me through load shedding really effectively.  I now want to move towards an Eskom independent home.

The flat roof on my house allows me to set the panels up in any way that best suits the design.

I have run the simulations and it makes most sense for me to install 10 panels on one area of the roof which will be at 0° and connect these to 1 MPPT. This will give me maximum energy production in the summer months.

I am using JA Solar 550w panels. As I understand the specs, I can add these as a single string in series, which is well within the amperage specs and just within the voltage spec of the MPPT.

I want to then add 14 panels, which would be set up for maximum winter energy production to the second MPPT.  These would also be 550W JAS panels. They would be mounted at 30° and would probably be in 2 strings of 7 (in parallel) on the second MPPT.

We are slightly above the amperage rating of the MPPT but I understand that the inverter would clip this and it is not a problem.

The voltage is also above the spec of the MPPT, but I am also under the impression that clipping will solve this problem.

My big concern is that the maximum VOC of the inverter is 1000V and the panels have a VOC rating of 49.9v. I read somewhere that this is a fixed maximum which would result in inverter damage if exceeded.

If I am understanding this correctly then I could only attach 20 x 550W panels onto the inverter.

Please could you assist me in unpacking this and advising on the best way to design the installation.

If I can only install 20 panels then what are my options to add in the additional capacity, without installing a second inverter.

Some advice and guidance would be so appreciated.

I have had the inverter for a while. Got rid of my single phase inverters (5 KW Deye systems) and put in the 3Phase 12KW Sunsynk unit. I love this system. I have a decent price on JA Solar 550W panels, so I plan to order those. I will put 11 panels on the 1 MPPT in 1 string. There will be some minor clipping. On the second MPPT I will have 2 strings of 6 panels each. 23 panels in total, which should pretty much serve my full needs other than May, June and July when I will need to supplement with Eskom.
