A common question that people often ask about the inverter ,

The batteries are full and the sun is still shining on the solar array yet there is power being drawn from the grid why ?

The reason is quite simple the power from the solar panels will initially charge the batteries.

You have to set what level of the batteries reach before you use the solar / battery power to either feed into the load feed into the grid with zero export or indeed export the power, this can be done at various levels of the battery in at various times it's completely programmable let me try and explain in a simple video
