BMS current limit with 2 x 5.32kw batteries

I have 3.6kw Sunsynk inverter which had 1 x 5.32kw sunsynk battery, I've just had another 5.32kw battery added to the system and expected the BMS current limit to increase (double) but it still shows 52 amps just as it did with one battery - is this correct?

Also with one battery if my load was above 2.6kw it used the grid to meet the demand even if the battery had plenty of charge - with the larger battery capacity now installed will I be able to pull more than 2.6kw from the batteries?

Any help much appreciated

Pleased to report second battery is now installed and fully working, BMS not recognising the second battery was due to a faulty comms lead between the batteries which was supplied with the connecting kit!
