Battery charging only 1kw
My battery used to charge at 2.5k until recently and now it only charges 1kw with the remaining PV exporting to the grid. Its really noticeable with the sun lower in winter as I have a tree shading my panels from 1.30 onwards. My battery never gets a good charge. Has an update changed the way the battery charges? I have a 5kw inverter and 5kw battery.

No - Specs for this battery indicate Nominal Charge/Discharge Current 50A.
This should be the value that the BMS is providing to the inverter. You should see this when you view the LiBMS screen.
If you override this it will potentially reduce the life of he battery.
