Grid charging of batteries only gets gets to about 2.4kw on a 3.6 Inverter

Hi I have a 3.6kw inverter connected to PV solar panel with battery storage i would say all seems to be work as expected for PV, Storage and discharge (at 3.6kw) of Batteries. I have recently moved to the Octopus Intelligent Go so charge the batteries between 23.30-05.30. According to the App the max i only ever charge at is about 2.4kw whilst the house draws about 0.5kw during that period. I have been told by Sunsynk that the grids and battery amps are set well above the requirement to charge at the higher rate. When the PV panel have full sunlight the batteries are charging at 3.6KW. Does anyone know why i can't charge at a higher level, am i been restrict by Octopus ? I'm new to this and not that technical but happy to share any relevant information. Regards Arthur

Go to settings, the bit where you set the charging times. In between the time settings is another setting called Power. If yours says 1000 you will charge at 1/2kw hour double it to 2000 and this now becomes one kwhour. Etc. There will be a bracketed min max number which determines rate of charge. Try that change incrementally just in case.
