So far, not impressed... any help appreaceated.
I have spoken with UK tech support who have put a request into 'the factory' to see if what I need to happen is achievable, yet it is a default on the cheap Chinese inverters at 50% of the price of Sunsynk.
I have an outbuilding and one load, nothing else, nothing going back to the grid.
I have solar panels (PV supply), lead acid batteries (Trojan T105), mains grid supply and a Sunsynk 3.6kw Ecco inverter - remember, I have just one load.
the load is 500w on miniimum and 1.6kw maximum. My batteries can handle the minimum load for 12 hours and the maximum load for 5 hours.
All I want is, at any time I chose, to turn on the load and have the power from the batteries and solar (if any) used as a priority and then, when the batteries reach 50% SOC.. the grid will pick up the load and the solar (if any) and grid will also charge the batteries back to 100% (Via bulk charge would be ideal)...
yep, that's it.
Not rocket science. Apparently, I can't do that and need to use a logic designed by a 5th-grade student that restricts usability and functionality.
I am regretting not buying the Victron product.
If there is any setting, it would be good to know or, is this an expensive paperweight that needs to go back?
I also want to set the duration of the bulk charge, is this achievable or again, do I have to ask for permission?
Also, why do I have to rely on someone else to code this for me, is there a hack to bypass and get into the logic/code of the inverter myself?

Thank you, I see how that can work and your explanation is appreciated The more information I can get the better I can engineer a solution so, thank you. thebabs1 has also provided a great workaround in replying to my origional post.
I am also waiting for the Sunsynk 'factory' to provide a solution/update to my configration settings, which i dont think is an unreasionable ask for the device to be able to do.
