3.6kW Hybrid Inverter array size

Hi,

Had my solar system for just over a year and I'm interested in adding more panels to the system, but just wanted to check what make sense for my setup.

I have the 3.6kW Ecco Hybrid Inverter which the website states can take a max power input of 7000w. Right now, my grid size is 3.1kW. I also have the 5.32kWh Battery.

I assume I can't charge the battery or supply over 3.6kW to the house given the inverter limit, but I guess the way it works if if I have say 6kW coming in from solar the inverter can cope with 3kW to battery and 3kW to house, or sending some of that back to the grid?

Or I may have that all wrong! Hence the question :)

I have a 3.6 Ecco and a 6.6kw array. I regularly see over 6000w PV in summer
