SUNSYNK inverter issues 5Kw
Good day , I am from South Coast electrical in KZN and has installed a 5Kw Sunsynk invereted and a 5kw Revov LI battery system for a client as per SANS 10142 regulations. I have also installed several other Sunsynk inverters for different clients and have nor recieved any issues or complaint form them execp this particular client. I have also in the past 4 months contacted REVOV support team to assist with the battery in order to determain if its the inverter or battery causing all these issues, but is strugeling with the technician to assist us. There are several isssues that has popped up in the past vew months, 1 of them is after we adjusted the settings not to export to the grid, it automaticly exports to the grid and main dwelling.
Then after ajusting the settings on the LI battery to first give alarm at 30% and the switch of at 15% if therer is no charge from grid or Solar (6x 550W), it automaticly switches off at 40% during loadshedding and only comes back on when grid power returns or solar and emediatly indicates 99% charged and at the same time starts exporting to grid again. Any idee what could be the issue.

The system 1 setting tell me that you are charging the batteies from the Grid to 80% except between 15:00 and 17:00 where it is 100% and allow to provide battery power up to 5000W when required.
System 2 tells me
You want the Sola PV power to go to the battery first rather than the load - Priorty Load unchecked.
You do do not want to export any battery power to the Grid - Zero Export checked
You want to expport any excess solar PV to the Grid - Solar Export checked
The maximum combined power of the inverter can generate is 50000W
This all looks fine for this type of system. 6*550W PV is a bit small for this system, particularly on cloudy days or in the winter time, the system shoul work fine.
Question - Do you have any other inverters connected to this installation. The reason for asking is depending where the CT coil is placed in relation to the invertrs, this can skew the Grid power values.
When you say that " just started indicating massive export values, both from solar, and at night from battery", can you tell me what he Battery and Grid guages are showing.
Also can you sharea "Daily Generation" graph for a representative day?
