Additional battery settings
Hi everyone. Newbiw here to the world of solar power so please be nice. 😉
Recently had an (sunsynk) inverter fitted with a (Sunsynk) battery. Recently purchased and fitted an additional (Sunsynk) battery to compliment my system. It is exactly the same battery and I have used the correct leads and set up the additional battery as per the instruction manual. One battery is the master and the other is the slave. All batteries are communicating together and with inverter - so far, so good.
My question is: do I need to change any of the settings on my inverter now. For example: changing it from 100ah to 200 ah etc?
Any advice here would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If you DO go with Octopus, there is a very good phone app called "Octopus Compare" which takes your actual smart meter readings and compares what you would have paid on different tariffs. At the moment, I would actually be paying less on Agile Octopus than I am paying currently on Cosy Octopus (which was not the case when I first signed up). I think that i am more comfortable with the predictable 3-tier prices on Cosy that half-hourly changes on Agile. But the fact of the matter is that, if I act as if I am on Cosy I would still pay a bit less on Agile (currently). Most Agile users are using a far greater degree of automation than I am. I have not tested it yet, but Octopus say that you can change tariff whenever you want.
At the moment, the novelty of my solar installation has not worn off - so I am having fun playing with it. My hope is that, by the time my autistic brain loses interest, I will have the inverter set up where I can let it do its own thing with reasonable (if not completely optimal) results. I knew nothing about solar when I started (despite being a software/hardware engineer before I retired).
