12kW 3-ph Parallel Generator issue

I have two 12kW inverters in parallel. We upgraded from 1 inverter to 2 when the loads were increased by adding other cottages to the system,.

When there was only 1 inverter, 60kW of battery and 18kW PV, all worked well - the inverter controlled the generator switch-on and charged as advertised.

Now, having added the second inverter in parallell, and set the Master and Slave accordingly, and added another 6kW of panels for the second inverter, same batteries ..... the master can start the generator based on battery percentage, but will not take ANY charge current. I have had to isolate the slave inverter's circuit breakers on both grid in and load out and generator in, removed the comms cable between master and slave, and set the master to NOT Parallel ..... Now it takes generator current when needed. The second inverter is now an expensive MPPT ONLY !

Has anyone had this issue, and what is the solution

Thanks, Charles

Fixed, it turns out that the slave inverter's connection to the generator was not done .....
