Hi,I just installed a 5kw battery to my system and I want to make sure I have the correct setting,I want my battery to charge with excess PV and discharge when there is no PV

Do you have one or 2 batteries? It looks like you only have one.
Can you share the LiBMS screen from the inverter console?
If this shows the battery settings rather than a table then the battery comms is working.
Your Yellow cable is in the wrong port. It should be in the PCS port. The In and Out ports are for the comms between the batteries when you have more than one battery.
The system screen below need to have "User Timer" ticked and the SOC values change to 10% (or if you do not want to discharge the batter to this lower limit you could use 15% or 20%). The specs say a DOD of 90%, so 10% should be fine.
On the System2 screen:
If you want the PV to supply the load first you need to select "Priority load" on the System2 screen.
If you want to export excess PV to the Grid (assuming you are Grid connected) you need to select "Zero Export" and "Solar Export"
