Unit price change, installer restricting my access
Hi,
I went to change the unit prices on my app to get an accurate reflection on my generation and cost savings with the recent price changes. However when I go to do this and save the changes it tells me I don't have the permission.
I believe this is because the installer has control of my app and although I understand remote access may be required surely the default should be that the owner has the permissions and control.
I have contacted the installer multiple times and although he was good in the beginning he has now basically ghosted me and I'm getting no response.
I am going to go back to the company I purchased the system from to see if they can help but before I do thought I would reach out on here for any advice.
Thanks in advance.

Regarding the data that is stored anonymously, I would agree with you. However the act of accessing data via an account that is linked to you as an individual, then I would disagree. Under GDPR, the installer must seek the owner’s permission to access the account. That permission can be withdrawn at any time.
Kindest regards
D.
