Hi Everyone. I have searched this forum and watched youtube videos and could not find clear answer.

So the inverter can take inputs from PV, grid and generator. My weird scenario is there is loadshedding with bad weather and batteries low and generator starts and supplies load and charges the batteries. What happens when grid comes back? Will the inverter switch off generator and prevent grid power to going into generator which can damage generator?

Simply put, can the inverter detect that grid is back and protect the generator?

Generator will be connected on the generator port.
