A few setup questions
I have a new install and I'm finding it difficult to fully get my head around the configuration although i know how i want the system to operate. Maybe someone can help me because the manual is almost useless as it doesn't explain what each configuration element does in detail.
I have just under 5kWh in PV going to a 5.5kWh Inverter with two 5kWh batteries.
If I'm generating 5kWh of PV what is the maximum in kWh that I can have going to the batteries? (The highest number i have seen is about 2.2kWh)
From the PV output i want the system to firstly satisfy my home load, then charge the batteries (at least to 80%), then any excess can be sent to the Grid. At the moment i see a small amount coming in from the Grid although i have enough PV to meet my home load. There are also times where i have seen 2.5kWh PV with 0.5kWh home load, 1kWh charging the batteries and 1kWh being sent to the grid.
I have had to disable the 'Beeper' in the basic settings because it keeps going off overnight, the Alarms/Warnings show nothing is wrong with the system, does anyone know how i would be able to see what is causing the beeper to go off? I believe it is a battery warning, in my setup 'Low Batt' is set to 20% and i can see some mornings that my battery level is around 18 or 19% charged. For the life of me though i can't see any Alarms or Warnings that is saying i have dropped below the 20% battery charge!

Maybe I'm being dim but to me it looks like the batteries are directly connected to the Inverter without a breaker, everything is mounted in the garage does that make a difference?
