No grid power to inverter

I have a 8 kva Sunsynk inverter with 3x 5kva batteries A few nights ago the system died with a error code F56. Later in the day the batteries charged up via the solar panels and the error disappeared. The problem I now have is that I can only charge the batteries from the solar panels. There is no grid power to the inverter. When the grid is up I have power to the house but when the grid is down I need to switch across to battery power. Where do I start to diagnose the issue. All circuits are up. The AC light does not come on at all.

F56 = DC bus bar voltage is too low

Battery low voltage

1. Check if the battery voltage is too low.

2. If the battery voltage is too low use the PV or grid to

charge the battery.

3. Check the battery BMS

Important: Especially with Lithium batteries, ensure that the

batteries Max. discharge current or power specification is the

same or higher than the inverter specification.

It looks like you havea battery issue or a comms issue between the battery and the inverter.

Have you check that LiBMS screen to confirm that you battery comms.

Have you checked the voltage output of the battery? If the BMS has a fault it will prevent the battery from outputting any power/voltage. You would expect the battery voltage to be in excess of 45V DC

If the battery appears to be OK.

Next see if the inverter will power up from the grid with the battery and PV isolated - also disconnect the comms cable.

If that works, turn on the PV to see if the DC light comes on.

If evertyhing is working then the inverter is OK and the issue is with the battery/BMS/Comms.

Then plug in the comms cable

If the system does not error, then try turning on the battery isolator

If it does not error and the comms is working then the screen should report the SOC of the battery, I am guessing that it will show 0% and the inverter will error.

If this happens then you either have a BMS issue in the battery or the comms connection
