How live price works with other settings?
Can anyone describe how the live price works with the other settings on the inverter?
Ie if you set sell price will it just drain your battery and solar to the grid, within that half hour, based on max discharge rates?
And if you have the timer set to keep battery at 80%, will the live price empty lower than that? If so will it then charge from the grid if grid charge selected?
Also if you set buy price would it automatically charge the battery to full charge within charge limits?
Regardless of timer max battery charge setting?

HI, I have the live pricing set on mine, 26p max charge, 50p min discharge (as I do not want to sell. It is worth more on self consumption - hot water and electric heating)
The system automatically then reacts to the half hourly pricing - if it goes below 26p it will charge the battery with solar during the day. Once full the solar will be exported if it is higher than the house load.
It ignores the timers you have set - charging when price drops below your setting.. Yesterday the live pricing did not get picked up for 8 hours and the system reverted to my timer settings prior to switching to live pricing.
