Data logger dongle with ethernet not available?

Hi All,

I agreed with my installer that I would get the data logger with ethernet (RJ45) but he says he can't get hold of one - in the UK anyway. It has been a year now since installation. The Ethernet dongles are advertised as being available on the Sunsynk website but I have not been able to find one for sale. "The Sunsynk data logger not only has Wi-Fi compatibility, but we also offer a Wi-Fi and Ethernet (Rj45) version for those of you who aren't near enough to your Wi-Fi access point to get a strong enough connection."

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Stuart

If you can run a cable to the inverter then you could, if an ethernet dongle does not become available, run a cable to an access point next to the inverter. The dongle could be the only thing on that network. Not elegant, but you would have access, which is what you want.
