If Imp is 12.98A then you will definitely not want to have 2 strings as you will lose power at the max point. 8 panels in series will give you around 300V which is well below the 450V of the inverter even if you factor in extremely low temperatures. DC isolator should be rated above the planned max voltage and current. Most come 600V / 40A or 63A which is fine. Remember, an isolator is used to manually disconnect the PV and doesn’t provide any other direct protection. However, For DC fuses for the PV string, 15A should be sufficient.
