Optimiser problems and advice
Evening, I was wondering if I could have some advice and whether I am understanding the system correctly before going back to the installer - I have raised it, but waiting a call back. I have the SunSynk 5.5 kw inverter with 2 batteries. The system is designed with 2 strings. String 1 is all on one roof (from my knowledge has 7 panels) while String 2 is divided between 2 roofs (3 on one side and 4 on the same side as String 1). Not idea situation, but with scaffolding issues I had a last minute redesign. String 2 therefore has optimisers.
The question I have is best summed up in the attached image taken from the SunSynk app.
As can be seen the top input (String 1) is receiving 2734W now divide that by 7 panels each panel is averaging around 390W. The bottom input (String 2) is only receiving a total of 315W. Now with 4 panels being on the same roof as String 1 I would expect similar values so 390W * 4 is 1560W and small amount for the 3 panels on the back (now in the sade). So having incoming watts of only 315W makes me think the optimisers are not operating / installed correctly.
Am I right in my thoughts or am I misunderstanding the issue. Thanks
Phil.

Do you have a Tigo CCA installed? If so you can look at the outputs of individual panels. I've only ever installed Tigo's with a CCA so no idea if they fully function when ones not there, although they're suppose to not require one.
Do all the panels in string 2 have optimisers?
If the orientations are sufficiently different it's possible that you may struggle with startup voltage on the second string, although the fact that you're getting 315W suggests otherwise.
