NEW to DEYE Hybrid Inverters - some basic questions
I am new to this forum. I have used String Inverters and Bi-directional Inverters like Victron to build off grid systems. I have recently been introduced to sites where Deye Hybrid Inverters (In this case 8kW / 3 Phase / 400V) are being used and currently look at using them in future sites.
I have 3 basic question and I hope someone in the forum can answer them:
What happens to the internal inverter settings when automatic updates take place?
Can this type of hybrid inverter operate 100% off the grid with batteries being fully charged and the PV power is in surplus of what the connected AC load requires.
Does the inverter require a BMS for LiFe Phosphate batteries? If so, how complex is the communication between the inverter and the BMS.
