Batteries: Delong LFP4850 (paceic.com BMS)
Hi! I got my 8kW hybrid inverter a few weeks ago and just received a set of 48v LiFePo4 rack batteries from Delong. I'd checked with them before ordering that they were compatible with Sunsynk/Deye inverters and they (I guess obviously in retrospect) said yes it was.
However I really can't get the BMS going at all. I feel like I've tried everything (CAN and all options for RS482 comms). I've checked the pinouts and even made a special cable (because for CAN the pins were in different places on the RJ45 connector).
Has anyone had any success with these batteries, or has any ideas? The BMS looks very similar (from the front panel) to the one in other batteries on the market. One thing that struck me was the Installer Manual for the inverter shows that you can have prototcol types up to 17, but my inverter only allows to 12. It's firmware M 6.0.0.6 / S 0.0.0.0 / C E.4.1.C - so is it possible that my inverter firmware is out of date?

Right now I'm running without the BMS connected (set as AGM in the Sunsynk menu), and with the charge/discharge values set a little bit between the ones suggested by Delong so I don't risk over/under charging it - but obviously that's extremely far from ideal.

Ok - an update on this... I didn't get anywhere with the service center as the battery isn't on the list of supported batteries, but the battery manufacturer (Delong) sent me an RS232-USB cable and a tool to write new firmware onto the batteries' BMS! After updating the firmware and ensuring the batteries were sequentially numbered with the DIP switches from 1, not 0 (so 1000,0100,1100,0010,1010,...), I connected with CAN (with a straight 1:1 cable) and it all works!
