Grid Trickle Feed interpretation

Hello

I am hoping someone is able to help me interpret what is happening here.

I have a SunSynk 8kw with 2 x 5kwh batteries. There are 2 PV sources, each is a bank of 8 x 545w JA's.

The grid trickle feed is set to 20w and the system timer table is 50% for all the time slots, with grid charge ticked.

Under system 2 the "Priority Load" is ticked.

The system works well, I am just trying to understand the below :

After using the battery to 50% overnight, the sun rises and the PV charging starts. During this time the grid power is around 20w as it should be and stable there.

Once the batteries reach 100% (from the PV charge) it drops to 99% (normal AFAIK) and then the grid power starts to swing between 0W and 300W and doesn't settle down. It's almost as if is continuously trying to compensate for something but it shouldn't because there is more than enough juice from the PV's

Here is the graph illustrating the behaviour. Check the grid power is rock solid at 20w until SOC gets to 100, then as SOC gets to 99 the grid power starts swinging. It then randomly comes right (settles on 20W) after 3 or so hours until the next battery cycle.

Another thing that I notice is that during this period, the LED's on the SunSynk batteries indicate "charged/standby" and then "discharging" backwards and forwards and the arrow on the system screen to the battery correlates this behaviour. Almost sounds like a hysteresis issue and the battery flapping between supplying and being charged

This also only started after I added PV panels to the system.

Any ideas ?

I can confirm that upgrading from M6.0.1.4 to M6.0.2.2 resolved this issue for me
