8kW Inverter 18 PV Panel Array
Good day, my question concerns best/safest way to install 18 off JAM72S30-535 PV panels on a SYNK-8K-SG01LP1:
Panel specifications as follow:
Model Number: JAM72S30-535MR
Open Circuit Voltage [VOC] 49.45 V 8 395.6 9 445.05
Maximum Power Voltage [VMP] 41.47 V 8 331.76 9 373.23
Maximum Power Current 12.9 A
Short Circuit Current 13.79 A
Model Number: SYNK-8K-SG01LP1
Max power input 10400 W
Max V DC input 370 (100~500) V
Max current input 26+26 A
MPPTs 2
MPPT Range 125~425 V
Options:
a. With two strings of 9 the voltage is higher than the MPPT range though below 500V max.
b. One string of 8 to one MPPT and two paralleled strings of five to the second MPPT - this exceeds the current limit - will it only be clipped or could it damage the inverter?
c. Any alternatives that make sence, or is it not possible to safely deploy 18 of these panels on the inverter?

two strings of 9 is the best option. on very sunny day you migh exceed MPPT voltage which just makes it stop tracking and reduces power coming from the panels (but then you are going to be limited by inverter power limit anyway)
