Sunsynk Inverter + Data Logger Security Vulnerability
I recently got the Sunsynk 8KW inverter installed at my house I noticed that once the inverter is powered and data logger is connected it broadcasts a WiFi SSID with the name of "EAP-XXXXX"
and you login using a default password and then are able to configure the data logger to be able to connect onto your local wifi network.
The problem is once you've configured the data logger to connect to your local network it still broadcasts the SSID and there is no way to change the default password or disable the SSID.
This as you can imagine poses a number of security risks as there is no way to disable to SSID or change the the default passwords, so in essence any tom dick and harry with the know how can easily logon to the Inverter and do a firmware update or even worse install a custom firmware
is there a firmware update currently out that resolves this issue?

I currently use SolarMan & would definitely not recommend it. It doesnt turn off its SSID - but you can find that other page to change it. There's constant outages lasting over an hour, they upgraded firmware & some of my inverter settings went kaput (including critical grid voltage & freq settings). Overall its super clunky to use to make changes to the inverter also
