Proportional load split between Gen and Inverter
Is anyone aware of a way to proportionally split the load between a generator and the inverter?
E.g. Is it possible to arrange for 50% of the load to come from a generator and 50% from the battery?
I'm aware of the peak shaving settings but these appear to only allow application of a fixed limit for draw from grid or gen i.e. 100% of load comes from gen/grid up to specified limit then any excess comes from battery (or charge current is reduced when limit is reached in case of charging).

Yep, had considered controlling the peak shaving value dynamically e.g set it to 50% of load value. The only issue with this is that the inverter seems to take a while to pickup new settings (1s is fastest update I've seen), that means the inverter may be periodically stressed where demand exceeds 8KW while setting takes effect. But the 8K unit is supposed to be good for 2x surge power for 60 seconds, so maybe not an issue.
It would also be possible to do something similar with aux set to micro inverter and using an inline power meter to dynamically set the power level. But that fails when SoC is 100% as the inverter will turn the input off. There may also be issues with getting a generator to synk with the inverter (gen input synks inverter to generator afaik).
