Hi Everyone, I hope you can help

I have just ordered a 5kW AC ECCO hybrid Inverter with 12 solar panels and a GSL 10.24kwh storage battery

I want to purchase a generator as I will be completely off-grid I have 2 questions

1. What size generator would be optimal? I am looking at a single-phase 10Kva (Wolf WPS9500DBE) or a 7.5Kva (Hyundai 5.8kW / 7.5kVA)

What would you recommend? I am worried about the frequency modulation potentially fluctuating and having the generator cut out.

The 7.5Kva generator stated it has an AVR (automatic voltage regulator) and the 10Kva generator is equipped with a copper wound alternator for superior power output stability and to maximise longevity and durability

Regarding the ATS

How is this wired? Does the invertor provide a control voltage to the generator, or is it a passive open-closed contact that starts the generator?
