Solar MD 14,3 kWh battery and Sunsynk 8 kw
My Sunsynk 8kw inverter has twice in 7 days "frozen"... the battery gets to 77% on one occasion, then 57% on another occasion... and then the inverter stops charging the battery from PV panels and starts using power from the grid, even though it's only supposed to charge from the grid when the battery level is below 50%.
When I switched off the grid supply once, the inverter started beeping and I had to switch it off. On another occasion, I powered down the inverter, disconnected the battery and grid and pv panels.. had to do this twice, and it went back to working normally. At another time, the inverter lost power from the grid, and even though it had 75% battery SOC, it shut down completely until the grid power returned.
My installer seems to think it's the Solar MD battery that's misbehaving, but I'm not so sure. Has anyone seen erratic behavior like this from a Sunsynk inverter?
