Is it worth getting the SunSynk dongle with the SunSynk app?

I have my SunSynk inverter for 19 months and have the dongle that uses the SolarmanPro app. Is it worth getting the SunSynk dongle with the SunSynk app?
Do one see real time stats when opening the app, or 'minutes ago' (sometimes) like with the SolarmanPro app.

Does the HA addon allow you to set the work mode? Or just read the sensors?
