100% to 30% or 90% to 20%
Is there a difference between charging to 100% and discharging to 30% versus 90-20? My system was configured by the installer 100-30 but it seems to me that maybe avoiding 100 would be better.

Aha. Yes, for 14kWh you are in with a chance of doing that. My winter usage is in the forties and fifties, so not quite the same sort of "game". I have 10.64kWh of batteries and 5.6kWp of panels. Changing parameters two or even four times a year would be very doable. I'm messing about with it every few days at the moment and it is interesting, but that won't last :-)
