Help with Software
I have recently had an inverter tied into solar panels and linked to two batteries installed , but to be honest I'm struggling with the setup and the people who installed it do not seem to be able to help. These are the issues:
-the battery packs are permanently fully charged, from which I assume the panels are just charging them
-the amount I export to the mains grid seems very small , 25Kw since February
-I've tried to fiddle with it several times so I may have been a numpty and messed up the original settings.
What I'm really after is for the battery pack to run right down (it's set to 20% discharge limit) so I know I'm consuming what I'm generating. I'm not interested in exporting to the grid because I already have a separate system that does that although I appreciate it is possible to set it to export any surplus power. Would anyone out there be able to give me some guidance as to how to proceed in a simple step by step way? I've included a photo of my setup if that helps. Thank you in advance.
Thanks for posting the images. I am a little confused as you ticket all the generator options. I though that you said that this is a Grid connected system.
You also show that you have selected "Limit to Load". Ticking this box will only supply power to the load side of the inverter.
The System2 screen is very confusing 🙄
Can you also clarify how you have connected your inverter, ie. what you have connected to the ports, Grid, Aux and Load.
