Has anyone managed to get this new low power mode activated yet?

According to Keith's recent videos there is a new low power mode we can activate which stops the inverter drawing so much power when there is no sun/battery. It basically goes to sleep until the sun comes back the next day. This can save quite a lot of money over the span of a year.

I was in contact with support the other day who ended up putting what they called the latest firmware on the inverter.

SW Ver.:M 2.3.8.2 / S 1.5.1.5 / C E.4.2.7

However, I still don't have the new low power check box shown in the video. Is there more I need to do? The reference some codes in the email I received earlier this week. Does anyone know what these are for?

Keith / Matt - good to find this thread. Suspect I’ve replied to the wrong line - but hopefully get an answer.

I have had the low power upgrade now for 3 days on a 3.6 unit. Like you it does put the inverter to sleep, but on one occasion only when PV goes to zero - so it ended up 2% below warning level. Then restarts as soon as PV returns in morning - even 1W. I expected restart at MPPT voltage threshold!

But I’m still seeing SOC depletion ca 1% every 3 -4 hours. Do you see that or does yours flatline overnight? I wonder if I have a slow current leak somewhere.

I’m also intrigued by the implications of ticking grid charge in battery page? In the absence of low power mode - should grid then kick in when you reach low battery warning?

Did you ever get answer to the command question?
