Sunsynk 5kW and generator not working

I'm looking for some assistance in getting my generator working with my Sunsynk 5kW inverter...

I recently decided to buy a generator, mainly for help run the load and recharge the batteries when we have extended and/or morning load shedding. I got a Ryobi RG-7900k, 7kW rated with a peak of 7.9kW.

This morning I had the chance to try out the generator as the power was off, again...

I have the generator wired to the AUX connection on the inverter.

When I started the generator and switched on the circuit breakers the inverter do not use the power. I confirmed the generator power was reaching the the inverter by checking the voltage at the inverter connections using my multimeter.

I do have a contactor for earth-neutral bonding when the grid power is off...

here are what I believe to be the relevant settings

I did notice that while the generator was running the grid frequency showed as the frequency the generators display panel showed as seen in this image.

If I switched off the circuit breakers between the generator and the inverter then the grid frequency remained static at the last reading and then fluctuated a little again when switching the circuit breakers on again...

Please could someone let me know what I've missed and need to change or what else to look for...

Thanks Keith, I had found the video, which did help and showed me a few things to set. The only thing I don't recall from the video was about earth/neutral bonding on the generator side of the connection which is the only thing I had not done. Once I did that all seemed to work just fine.
