DNO application power factor
Looking for some clarity.
I have received a connection offer from the DNO, but in the export section they have listed my system should have a power factor of 0.95 with a tolerance of 0.5KVAr
From my 5kw sunsynk label it's stated it has a power factor of 0.8 leading and lagging
Do I need to add some form of power factor correction to comply with the DNO
What does the 0.5 KVAr tolerance have on the overall power factor.
It's been some year since doing these calculations at college and I've forgotten.
