Ecco 3.6kWh New Install
We have just installed the above inverter on a narrow boat. The system comprises:
AC connection via shoreline
4 x AGM battery 120Ah connected in series to create 1 x 48V
Boat AC connected via the 'Load connection on the inverter
3 x 405W solar panels
We require the system to operate to use solar --> Batteries--> Mains (if connected) and to operate when not connected to the shoreline. We do intend a generator to connect into the inverter at some point.
Have we appropriately installed the hardware for the intended use and are there any special setup issue we should be aware of? Any help would be appreciated!

You should configure the inverter to discharge a battery till 20-30% (remove the checkmark Charge in Grid). This case invertor will use the following flow:
High-priority input: solar. The power will spent to load and battery (you can set it in config)
When there is not enough solar: a battery will be used (till 20-30% SOC)
When there is no solar, discharged battery - the grid will be used
