Self installed 3.5kw no battery yet. Not certified,I am an electrician. Uk . Do I need to inform my supplier? Also is there any benefit to zero export for me ?

If it's grid connected you'll need to send in G98 paperwork to your local DNO. They should have a page on their website with specific instructions. See https://www.energynetworks.org/operating-the-networks/whos-my-network-operator
