What settings do I need for the following scenario
From the above, you can see that I am getting 2.5kwh in and using only 0.8kwh. Moreover:
My settings are priority load + use timer. Which should mean that my PV should handle the load and any excess be used to charge the battery. My SOC was sitting at 66%, but the below settings have been used:
Are the above settings then incorrect? because it seems that the battery isnt being charged with the excess power (could this be as a result of the SOC being higher than that specified in the SOC/V settings? ) Should I be unticking the box on "Grid" and upping the SOC to 100% for example during peak hours of the day when i get the most sun?
My aim is to always consume electricity first from PV directly, then battery then grid. But my load is very low throughout the day - so I'd like to charge the batteries with any excess electricity that I get. Any advice on settings to use would be greatly appreciated.
Ok. My system is also a 8kw Sunsynk with 16 x 550 panels (8800 watt) and 13.5 kw batteries. Just a few questions to ascertain your set-up;
Is your DB split up into critical and non critical loads?
What is your daly kw/h usage in your house? (Units)
The 550 units used in Jan -Mar, was that inported from the grid or produced by your pv-solar?
How many batteries do you have?
