50kw 3ph with 2 x 15kwh 48v batteries.
Basically, do I need HV batteries (160v min) ?
Or, can I just connect the batteries I have? Seems odd that such a versatile unit can only use HV batteries?

Definitely need HV batteries. Do not use your 48V batteries.
