BATTERY FAST DISCHARGE WHEN NO CHANGE IN SMALL LOAD
My 10.24kWh battery was installed July 2023. From then to about a month ago it charged to 100% daily from the grid at first then after September 2023 I had solar panels installed and it charged fully daily from those, now and then if the discharge was more than the battery at 20% then supply was from the grid. The battery discharged slowly during the night running the fridge and freezer and might have been at say 70% at 3H00 and something similar by morning.
Then about a month ago the battery discharge changed.
In like 20 minutes at 3H00 it shows a capacity dropping to like 20% over like 20 minutes, with no additional draw off. It at first did this about every 3rd night, then recently more frequently. What is causing this and how can it be remedied?
I have a similar problem - also a 2023 install.
When SOC reaches 30%, under the same load, it rapidly drains to 20%.
I contacted SS Support via the app - they told me I need the installer to come back and balance the batteries.
From what I understand this will take a while as it involves disconnecting each battery in turn and charging to 100% (and observing for errors) No doubt that'll be a pricy visit...
I've emailed the installer several times but no response so I'll have to go back to SS Support I guess.
