Settings for Sunsynk Batteries
Three questions about batteries.
I've got CATL batteries. The description says:
Depth of Discharge (DoD) – 100%
Usable Capacity – 5.12kWh
However, the batteries stop discharging at 20% so this feels like I'm leaving 1kWh on the table. Are my battery settings wrong or is stopping discharging at 20% recommended?
It looks like changing the levels in Battery Shutdown would do it, any reason not to set "low bat" and "shutdown" lower than the installer set them?
I'm getting a second battery (same type as the first one). Once the second battery is connected in parallel is it just a case of telling the inverter 200Ah, 90A charge & discharge, any other settings to consider?
(Assuming I got the cables & dip switches correct but the manual is pretty clear about that).
