BATTERY SETUP
Good morning
Please pardon my ignorance, but I would like to make sure that I use my battery correctly and that it lasts as long as possible.
I recently had a Sunsynk 5Kw inverter installed as well as a 5Kw Sunsynk battery (SUN-BATT-5.32). I also have 12 x 420W solar panels connected on the system.
The two are connected via a communication cable. I would like to know what the correct or preferred battery settings would be on the inverter for charge and discharge. The battery specs reflect a Nominal Charge/Discharge of 50A and a Max Charge/Discharge of 100A.
Is it at all necessary to enter any settings or is this feature only applicable when you use a different manufacturer's battery? I notice under the "Batt type" menu there is a tab to set the Charge Amps and another tab to set the Discharge Amps. Then under the "Batt charge" menu there is a tab where you can set the Grid charge Amps.
I would really appreciate it if someone could help me in the right direction!
