3 rd Inverter cause the system to shut down - please help
We are proud installers of SunSynk in South Africa!
We have a small problem - will appreciate if you can help.
The 3rd inverter had to be replaced due to mppt issue - the system was running since Feb 2021.
When we replaced the inverter ( slave 2) we had to update all 3 inverters firmware to
451c / 3366 After installing the 3 rd inverter -
1) all inverters come up - parallel is working
- but still no solar connected or AC output OFF breakers are down & not feeding the house.
2) by switching the OUTPUT breakers ON, ( master, slave1 - the system don’t go in error mode)
When switching ON the 3rd inverter ( slave2 - the new unit) there is a short & breakers trip AND it kicked the inverters in error mode
3) we did also tested it with the OUTPUT breaker ON only the 3rd inverter - slave2.
Meaning that the house only gets power from the 3rd inverter - slave 2. And it runs 100%
It seems that when OUTPUT breaker of the slave 2 - 3rd inverter is switch ON with OUTPUT breaker of Master & Slave1 - it feels like the sine wave of the 3 inverters is not 100% the same. Ie phase A for inverter 1 & 2 and ie Phase B or C on inverter 3.

We replaced all 3 inverters - 1 manufactured in May 2021 & 2 inverters that were manufactured in July 2021.
The problem was an incompatibility between different hardware versions.
It will be of great value if SunSynk can advice us. As installers we love SunSynk but can’t waist time on issues like this.
Below you will see all the inverters that we tested.
